November Newsletter

The Cross Country League races come thick and fast, with 2 fixtures in November. After a decent start to the Chiltern League season at Keysoe, Silson sit 3rd in Division 2.  You have a week to book your place at the awards evening on November 15th. Final numbers required by November 9th. It is always better to collect your award on the evening, rather than be given it on a dark night at training.

Chiltern Cross Country League Keysoe Saturday October 12th

Silson men finished with their 8 scoring runners in the top 60 in a race that lacked numbers. Returning to the club Richard Francis ran a fine race, crossing the line 19th. The men’s team final scorer was new member Simon Kirschner-Heavans 56th. A top ten finish for Helen Heley 7th in the Ladies race. Running really well to complete the scoring 5 were Jade Storer 29th and Susan Mulligan 31st.

Training

Continues on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm at Silverstone Circuit. For Sunday runs see Facebook. This month’s track training at Stowe School will Saturday 16th 6 x 90 secs efforts followed by a 1 mile time trial.
