December Newsletter

December has been a positive month for Silson, with the club moving up from 8th to 6th in the Chiltern League. Let us hope we can follow this up with another strong performance at Luton on December 3rd (HH Update – we did! Check out the Facebook Group and next month’s newsletter). Hopefully we can get teams in the Northants County Cross Country and also the Midlands. These races need to be entered before Christmas (see race fixtures below). Also to have 60 people attending a very successful awards evening at Silverstone SRA was another massive plus.

Chiltern League Teardrop Lakes Saturday November 12th

After having just 3 runners at Oxford the ladies team boasted 11 runners for the 2nd Chiltern League fixture of the season. This makes such a difference to the overall result with non-scoring runners pushing other teams further down the order. Six of the mens scoring 8 finished in the first 50. Results Ladies 8th Helen Heley, 20th Hannah St Leger Harris, 31st Emily Hinton, 56th Madeleine Moutrie, 58th Nikki Mansell, 65th Sally Stephens, 68th Fiona Storer, 70th Isabel Heley, 71st Stephanie Spencer,73rd Sophie Clark, 77th Teresa Cox.
