Training

With the darker nights now upon us Silson Wednesday training moves on to Silverstone Circuit, meeting 6.30pm in the entrance car park. It was decided at a recent coaches meeting to commence the Winter Cup in October, which will continue through the 10k in April. The Winter Cup was formed as a test and guidance for your winter training. Therefore the distances for example 1.5ml in October, 2.5ml November and 3ml December will be repeated after xmas. 1.5ml January, 2.5ml February and 3ml in March. The course will be the same for each distance, giving an athlete an idea of winter training progression.

The Saturday Stowe track session this month is October 19th 10.30am. 800 meters will be the session.
